secondary schools based their education on the three pillars of life: academics, sports and socialization. But some of their new rules have a bizarre quality: the boys have to have total control of girls - they can do pretty much whatever they want, pretty much at any time and from any source. That's not mentioned specifically in the school books but you can read about it in the newspapers. You can also read about how students at the school were punished for disrespecting their teachers (and not by seniors).

secondary schools have a strong social responsibility and code of conduct for the students (in reality, you would not want a whole lot of students physically moving together in the dormitories, which by the way, are pretty boring places. Besides the facilities, the students suffer from too much competition for things they want - laptops, cooking areas, meditation rooms. Everything seems to take its toll on the students' overall well-being.

the new British Boarding schools offer (just like mainstream schools) the chance of beingaways: students organised themselves, creating their own classes and dedicating a significant part of their leisure time to their education. They are not as predictable and aren't brainwashed the way kids in the US are. On the contrary: like college dormitories, students organise themselves and have a responsibility for each other. It is about being self-motivated adults.

The only impediment between the place II students and the place I students is that their training is over 3 times longer than my students. The completion of time and any other activity from my students used to excite me at times, but not the students of place II. When I took my class, one single fixation used to excite me at most.
